Admission Requirements:
Admission to OABI is based on the student’s ability to satisfactorily complete the administrative and academic requirements. Students should possess the following educational background:
1. High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
2. Bachelors Degree or equivalent is required for the Masters program.
3. Masters degree or equivalent is required for the Doctoral program.
Concurrent Enrollment:
High school students may apply for enrollment in Associates level courses AA 207 through AA 212. Credits earned will be transferable toward an OABI degree following their graduation from high school.
Conduct Standards
Open Arms Bible Institute is for sincere Christians who are dedicated to the Lord Jesus Christ. The faculty subscribes to the highest Christian standards, and expect enrolled students to reflect high moral and spritual standards of life also. We endeavor to lead by example, and require students to abide by Biblical values.
While nobody is perfect, willfull sinning will not be tolerated and such students are subject to dismissal. However, after genuine repentance, counseling and a period of restoration, a student may be reinstated.

Every student is admitted to the same educational programs, rights, privileges and honors.
We gladly accept foreign students from other countries. Please e-mail the admissions department for further information. A slight fee increase may be needed to cover additional shipping charges. Students outside the USA may pay by international money orders payable in US dollars.

Associates of Practical Ministry
OABI offers several degree completion tracks.
Advanced Associaties Program
Students with 30 transfer/life experience credits may enroll in the Advanced Associates Program. Total cost for this program (6 courses) is $500.
Associates Program
Students with fewer than 30 credits will be required to complete the following additional courses : AA 201-206. The price for each of these additional distance courses is $60.00 This price includes all books. Depending on transfer credits and life experience, all or a portion of these offerings will be required. Students should discuss this with an OABI counselor prior to enrollment. Please call the OABI office for a list of other courses that can be completed for college credit.
You may substitute distance courses with classroom attendance at OABI. An additional fee of $60 per class will be charged. Check website for class schedules.
Accelerated Seminar Track
You may take the “Accelerated Track” which consists of seminar style classes offered at various locations, with required reading completed prior to seminar. The Accelerated Track is an additional fee of $125 per course.
Bachelors Degree Programs
Total cost for the distance education program for any Bachelor Degree is $700.00. This price includes all text books and answer sheets. An associates degree or 60 hours of transfer/life experience credit is needed to enroll in this program.
You may substitute distance courses with classroom attendance at OABI campus. An additional fee of $50 per class will be charged.
You may take the “Accelerated SeminarTrack” which consists of 3 day seminar style classes offered at various locations with required reading completed prior to seminar. The Accelerated SeminarTrack is an additional fee of $125 per course.
Masters Degree Programs
Total cost for the distance education program for any Masters Degree is $700.00.
Doctorate Degree Programs
Total cost for the distance education program for any Doctorate Degree is $800.00.

ASSOCIATES (ACCELERATED)= $125 Down Payment - Payments of $62.50 per month for 6 months
* If any additional courses are needed for the associates degree the price per course is $60 and can be paid any time prior to the course shipping.
BACHELORS = $175 Down Payment - Payments of $87.50 per month for 6 months
MASTERS = $175 Down Payment - Payments of $87.50 per month for 6 month
DOCTORATE = $200 Down Payment - Payments of $100 per month for 6 months
If you have served in ministry or volunteer positions you may qualify for credits. List the area of experience, the amount of time spent in this ministry and the details of your activities on the student application form which can be found in this catalog. Life experience must be documented and confirmed in writing. Confirmation of experience can be shown by having your pastor or ministry leader sign a statement regarding your time of service, the dates involved, and other details pertaining to the ministry experience.
